Veggies!!!

Oh the smell and the taste of my Grandma's freshly prepared vegetable soup...*wink*
A lot of folks, especially the ladies, think that vegetables are local, but for the older folks and the young dudes, vegetables are the real deal.

Like fruits, vegetables are also rich sources of vitamins, antioxidants, and other micro-nutrients.

Vegetables also come in various colors, hence, eating a variety of them is important to healthy lifestyle, and growth and development.
Because one category of veggies isn't more important than the other, eating a variety of colors is the best way to have access to the nutrients each provides. So, eat and drink a rainbow of colors to stay healthy. (Source : fruitsandveggiesmorematters.org)
