It's A Green Thing - Part 1



Hello people!

Trust you are having an awesome week?
If not, don't worry, the week isn't over yet.

So, today, am going to talk about Fruits, I noticed that majority of the fruits are green in color, either inside,
outside or both, hence the title.

Fruits are nature's gift that's got vitamins, minerals, anti-oxidants and many phyto-nutrients (Plant derived micro-nutrients).


  Include seasonal fruits in your daily diet. Variety of fruits type, color, and flavors should be encouraged to get maximum health benefits.

Fruits are low in calories and fat, so you don't have to bother about gaining fat pads.

Moreover, insufficient intake of fruit and vegetables is estimated to cause around 14% of gastrointestinal cancer deaths, about 11% of ischaemic heart disease deaths and about 9% of stroke deaths globally. (Source : World Health Organization).

Just a little insight to what fruits can prevent:
  • Cancers
  • Type II Diabetes
  • Coronary Heart Diseases
  • Hypertension
Research studies even suggest that one may eat any servings of fruits daily. It is recommended to eat at least 2-3 servings of fresh fruits every day.

So, when next you stroll past the fruit man/woman, say HELLO and spend a few bucks.
